Performance Tuning & Upgrades

Performance tuning, also known as “remapping,” involves accessing a vehicle’s standard calibration map through the OBD port or via a direct bench connection. This allows us to adjust key parameters such as fuel pressure, boost pressure (for turbocharged engines), ignition timing, and throttle response to optimise engine performance.

Manufacturers usually apply a conservative compromise when calibrating new vehicles to suit a wide range of driving environments and fuel qualities. By refining the ECU software, we safely increase power and torque, resulting in improved drivability.

Diesel vehicles often benefit from enhanced fuel economy as well. Depending on the ECU type and the tuning method required, most vehicles can be completed same-day, although some bench programming may require additional time.
